A Brief History
Since it's inception in 1946, The Orlando Jaycee PeeWee Golf Tournament has continued to provide junior golfers the opportunity to balance the fun of playing with with friendly competition. Started at Dubsdread Country Club by Orlando Jaycee Fred Crews, It is now the Longest Continuous Children's Golf Tournament in the United States. Many Current and former PGA and LPGA pros have played and won their respective divisions of this tournament.
1946 Played at Dubsdread
1965 Moved to Mid FL. Country Club
1970 PeeWee moved to Cypress Creek
1980 Designated as one of the 4 major junior Golf Tournaments in the US.
1981 PeeWee moved to Disney
1990 Peewee moved to Marriott World
1991 PeeWEE moved to Metro West
1999PeeWee moved to Orange County National
2000PeeWee moved to Kissimmee Bay
2001PeeWee returns to Orange County National.
